Captain Chuck Turbanic began his long illustrious fishing career when he was only 13. Taken out by his dad for the first time, he was instantly hooked. He began working charter boats in 1992, and hasn't looked back. Gaining the knowledge and skills needed to run his own boat, he put in the time to get a good reputation around the dock. In 1997, Chuck and his father decided to purchase the No Alibi, and run it together and offer Destin deep sea fishing. At the time, Chuck's father ran the boat, and Chuck worked the deck for his father. Since then, Chucks father has retired from being the captain, allowing the way for Chuck to take over the vessel. A man known by the other captains as a honest, hard working man, his favorite type of fishing is blue water fishing. "I like off shore trolling for blue marlin, though it can be boring at times, there is nothing that can compare to looking back and seeing a blue marlin coming into your spread. Your heart rate triples, your hands and feet go numb, the hair on the back of your neck stands up. It’s just a incredible rush, nothing like it. But that’s just me. Its not all about the big bite. I enjoy the gulf, I enjoy taking people out and finding them fish, especially people that have never been. The look of amazement that comes over their face when you put them on a good bite of fish, especially kids is priceless.
